Ministries

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24

At MCBC, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes.  Here's a brief summary of what we offer.

Children

According to Luke 18:16, Jesus loved kids. Children are important at MCBC! From the nursery all the way through the elementary years. Our children’s teachers and leaders focus on teaching the children about the Bible and Jesus through lessons, games, music, and other activities. Our goal is to teach our children how to apply God’s Word to their life every day so they may be complete and equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17)

We have Sunday school classes for children of all ages: nursery, toddlers, 3 year old - Pre-K, Kindergarten - 2nd grade, and 3rd -5th grade. On Wednesdays, we provide a meal and Bible activities and stories.

Each week, our vision is to create a safe, fun, and loving environment where kids can learn to love God and love others. Every children’s leader has been properly screened and passed a background check. Please know your child’s safety is a top priority at MCBC.

Just like adults, we believe God can use little people to do big things too!

Youth

We have a desire to see middle school and high school students commit to knowing Jesus Christ on a personal level and grow in their faith. We also want our students actively involved in the life of our church. Serving in our worship services and other church-related activities and ministries allows our students to be engaged in what God is doing at MCBC.

Outside of serving, our students meet each week on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for Bible study. We also have various activities throughout the year planned for our students so they can learn how to Love God and love others better.

Adults

Our primary tool for adult discipleship and fellowship is through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. It's a fun place to get together with genuine people who desire to pursue Christ. It's also a place where you can share your burdens and support others during their hard times. We're all human, and the Bible is very clear on leaning on our brothers & sisters in Christ.

Our Bible study classes (also called Sunday school) is one of the most important ministries of the church as this is where you get fed deep in the Word and grow together with other believers. It is an opportunity for you to really dig deep into Bible study on a more personal level.

For the adults, every Wednesday night we have a we study a portion of the daily readings from our church's yearly Bible reading plan. We also spend time together in prayer knowing "the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect" (James 5:16).
